Rubber Shock Absorber
Industrial rubber multi-strand cords allow
limited stretch to absorb shock loads created by storms, surge and boat wakes.
As tension increases the rubber shock absorber is both
compressed and stretched so that movement of the boat is gradually arrested without the
stress to cleats and fittings caused by other dock lines.
Rubber "memory" returns the boat to its original
postion so it never hits the fenders.
Excellent for mooring lines and anchor snubbers.
